“Viaggio di Ritorno” Garden

The Rodolfo Lacquaniti Environmental and Contemporary Art Park

Rodolfo Lacquaniti, bio-architect and artist, addressed his audience with the languages of total contemporary art: sculpture, installations, video-art, painting, performance, music, photography, word, gesture, live arts and poetry, and offers a reflection on consumer society.

The moment of reflection starts from the energy impoverishment afflicting contemporary humans.

Lacquaniti’s creative vision involves the recycling of objects, scraps and waste, which is assembled together to become universal art.

The artist presents his installation entitled The Garbage Revolution: “Latest-generation H202 mutants have assembled among the waste of the “mountain”. They are the metropolitan scar, the urban blemish of illegal dumpsites.”

Rodolfo Lacquaniti has created an artist’s garden called Viaggio di Ritorno, set within the greenery of the Maremma in Castiglione della Pescaia. Among other things, it also served as the setting for the film “La Storia di Sonia” by Lorenzo Guarnieri, which won the Best Production Design category at the Los Angeles Movie Awards.

The Giardino Viaggio di Ritorno Environmental and Contemporary Art Park can be visited only on appointment by calling 335 5247472 or writing to r.lacquaniti@tiscali.it. For more information, see the website www.rodolfolacquaniti.com
